Twilight Knight StarCrosser

Done 100% using only MSPaint! For the theme "A Pony Performing Magic". (Hey, magical armor and weapons count as MAGICAL, too, right?) Took me hours to complete this but I had tons of fun making this image, especially the shield and axe. In response to 's last theme, "a pony with its head in the clouds", I originally planned to make a steampunk knight using my ponysona StarCrosser but scrapped the idea since he lives in another world where civilization and technology is like that from around 1000 AD. He was supposed to wear a steam-powered hat which releases steam from a 'chimney' attached to it. But I didn't want to ruin StarCrosser's medieval image so I decided to change all that. This is a futuristic yet still medieval vision of StarCrosser from "The Highland Mists" storyline. [link]

Image descriptions and explanations below:

HELMET : A gift from Belenos, the chief god of the land where StarCrosser comes from, the helmet magically protects its wearer from being effected by illusions, charms or any other mind-control elements. A small cloud of mist or fog would gather over its top, like a helmet's ornament, whenever the helmet is worn - the sign of the power of Belenos, the God of Mists.

ARMOR : Given to StarCrosser by the goddess Brigid, sister of Belenos, as payment for his services. The armor protects its wearer from spiritual attacks, like possesion.

SHIELD : A large and thick shield made from magically reinforced iron. The 4-point stars, based on StarCrosser's own cutie mark, symbolizes protection and balance while the 8-point star represents cosmological balance. The circle at the centre is a symbol of justice and fairness.

AXE : By far the most fun thing for me to make. Those of you who've known StarCrosser for a long time by now know that he fights with his bare hooves. But I suddenly felt nostalgic (I miss Pandora Saga...) and decided to give him an axe. I had so much fun drawing that huge one-hand axe which only ridiculously strong individuals can carry. Yes, it's a one-hand axe - you carry it with one hand. While the rest of the axe is made from the same material and method as the shield, the weapon's blades are made entirely out of diamonds - the hardest material on Earth.
